About This Opportunity

The Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment is dedicated to empowering girls and young women in Etobicoke-Lakeshore and beyond. Our multi-part programming is specially designed to maximize the potential of girls and young women ages 7-17, especially Black and racialized girls, with curriculum that allows them to feel capable and confident. We are committed to building the self-esteem, and self-worth of girls and young women by positively influencing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves.

  • 💗 Homework Club Tutor
  • 💗 CAPES Advisory Committee Member
  • 💗 Multimedia Volunteer
  • 💗 Special Events Volunteer
