The Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment is dedicated to empowering girls and young women in Etobicoke-Lakeshore and beyond. Our multi-part programming is specially designed to maximize the potential of girls and young women ages 7-17, especially Black and racialized girls, with curriculum that allows them to feel capable and confident. We are committed to building the self-esteem, and self-worth of girls and young women by positively influencing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves.

Eligibility: Open only to women and individuals who identify as women.
Please note: A Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory for all volunteers.
