About This Opportunity

The MS Bike - Leduc to Camrose is an energizing cycling challenge that relies on the incredible support of many dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time. A variety of volunteer roles are available to help ensure an exceptional experience for cyclists as they ride to raise funds for those Canadians affected by MS, including:  

Event Site Set Up/Event Wrap Up Crew: 
  • Unload supplies and equipment.  
  • Help set up/tear down fencing, tents, tables, chairs, banner & signs.  
  • Decorate and tidy the site, clean up post event.  
Dinner Support:  
  • Check all ID, sell drink tickets, and provide bands 
  • Restock supplies​.     
  • Monitor the cleanliness of the area​.
Luggage Storage Area Volunteer:  
  • Greet participants picking up their luggage.  
  • Check participant information to match their ID.   
  • Direct participant to appropriate section to retrieve their luggage.  
Rest Stop Volunteer:  
  • Help load/unload event vehicles and supplies.   
  • Set up and clean rest stop area.   
  • Greet and cheer on participants.   
  • Provide refreshments/snacks for the cyclists.   
  • Communicate with team lead regarding supply needs at rest stop or cyclists requesting pick up    
Bike Storage Volunteer – CRE: 
  • Organize efficient storage of bikes and assist participants with the storage of their bikes.   
  • Provide site direction to cyclists/or direct cyclists to the event information tent.

  • Do you have a positive attitude and enjoy bringing positive energy to events?  
  • Are you passionate about supporting the MS community?  
  • Are you a self-motivated and reliable person? 
  • Are you willing to fulfill volunteering duties on time? 
  • Previous experience managing people is considered an asset.
