About This Opportunity

The MS Bike – Ottawa to Cornwall is back on August 15th and 16th, 2026! The ride starts and ends at the Vernon Recreation Centre (7950 Lawrence St, Vernon, ON), with an overnight stop at The Dev Hotel & Conference Centre (1950 Montreal Rd, Cornwall, ON), and several rest stops along the way. 


MS Bike is a two-day cycling event where every kilometer ridden helps raise funds and awareness for the 90,000 Canadians living with multiple sclerosis (MS). By volunteering, you'll play a crucial role in making this event a success while having fun, meeting new people, and supporting those affected by MS.


Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles to help ensure a smooth event and provide an exceptional experience for cyclists:


- Event set up/wrap up

- Participant Check-In

- Volunteer Check-In

- Bike Marshals

- Rest Stop Support

- Breakfast and Lunch Support

- And many more!

 


Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for:

- Energizing and positive attitude. A friendly face helps create a fun atmosphere!

- Passion for supporting community-driven fundraising events.

- Work well as part of team.

- Self-motivated, reliable and able to fulfill duties in a safe and timely manner.

Time Commitment:

Be available to volunteer in person on Saturday, August 15th, and/or Sunday, August 16th, for 3‐8 hours depending on your shift and commitment desire.
