Brian Prosserman
Board Treasurer & Secretary
Mr. Prosserman is the founder of Volunteer Success and actively participates in Volunteer Success's activities. He is a self-employed venture capitalist and philanthropist. Before Volunteer Success, Mr. Prosserman founded and ran the Seniors-Online computer lab. Over five years, 100 volunteers taught over 1000 seniors how to use computers and the Internet. Mr. Prosserman founded Volunteer Success with the vision to provide Canada with a useful resource to build a stronger volunteer community by connecting organizations to people and people to causes.
Andrew Levy
Board Chair
Mr. Levy is currently the Executive Director at Schwartz Reisman Centre & Prosserman JCC in Toronto. He is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the recreational facilities and services industry. He is a strong business development professional skilled in nonprofit organizations, event management, strategic partnerships, volunteer management, strategic planning, organizational effectiveness and public speaking.
Ari Shomair
Board Member
Mr. Shomair is responsible for ensuring Volunteer Success remains a leader in its industry by operating efficiently and successfully executing its business strategy. He is currently a self-employed investor. His background includes being a successful entrepreneur and professional investor for over a decade, having successfully built and exited multiple technology-focused companies. Mr. Shomair holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
David Brinder
Senior Advisor (volunteer)
Mr. Brinder is currently the COO/CFO at Prosserman JCC & Schwartz/Reisman Centre in Toronto. He obtained his CA (Chartered Accountant) designation in 2009 and possesses experience in a wide variety of industries specializing in private corporations, audit, accounting, spreadsheet development and maintenance. Mr. Brinder is a previous Board Member of Volunteer Success and currently acts as the organization's accounting and financial advisor.
