A Million Acts of Love, led by 14-year-old Felix Townsin, is a Canadian initiative created to honour his sister Lexi, who passed away from a rare disease called Blau syndrome. The campaign encourages individuals to participate in acts of kindness, aiming to reach one million acts by December 16, 2024—what would have been Lexi’s 12th birthday. In addition to spreading kindness, the campaign raises awareness for rare one-in-a-million diseases like Blau syndrome and for the millions of people grieving the loss of loved ones. Funds raised through the campaign support initiatives like Lexi’s Little Legends, which provides grants to young changemakers. Felix continues to honour Lexi’s legacy by fostering love and positive change.

The mission of A Million Acts of Love is to inspire and empower people to spread love through acts of kindness, while raising awareness for rare diseases like Blau syndrome and supporting families affected by grief. Felix’s campaign is not only for the one-in-a-million rare warriors battling diseases like Lexi’s but also for the millions of children and families who, like him, are grieving the loss of siblings, parents, grandparents, or friends.

Our goals include:

  • 1)Inspiring individuals to participate in acts of kindness to honour Lexi’s memory
  • 2)Raising awareness for rare diseases like Blau syndrome
  • 3) Supporting the millions of people missing loved ones
  • 4) Providing A Million Acts of Love Grants through the Lexi’s Little Legends program, offering young changemakers seed funding for their social projects or charities
