Role Description: 

Newsline Writers will be responsible for the preparation of a monthly or bi-monthly newsline, which highlights new climate change related information with relevance to Atlantic Canada. Newsline Writers will be responsible for summarizing news and local initiatives related to climate change into concise, easy-to-understand articles. While this position involves a bit of writing, the main responsibility of the Newsline Writers will be to format and compile the newsline and include engaging activities (such as crosswords, puzzles, etc.). 

 Role Requirements: 

-Ability to write articles consistent with proper grammar, spelling, flow, and schematics 

-Experience and familiarity with climate change issues, specifically happening in Atlantic Canada is a plus, but not required 

-Ability to produce well-organized and well-formatted newslines, following a template, within reasonable time frames 

-Creativity and basic knowledge in producing engaging activities
