WRHA’s Community Health & Corporate Volunteer program places volunteers in roles that support public health programs and community services across Winnipeg. Postings are opened as needed and listed under Current Vacancies; applicants are asked to apply only to roles that are currently posted. Typical service happens on weekdays during business hours, and Volunteer Services guides candidates through screening, orientation, and training for their placement.
Examples of volunteer areas on WRHA pages include community health education, clinic/event support within community areas, and administrative or program support—each designed to complement staff and enhance services for clients and families. When recruitment is paused, interested people can email Volunteer Services to be notified when intake reopens.
