Love Caravan is a Vancouver-based nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of intergenerational connection and fostering a culture where younger generations respect, support, and care for seniors.
Many of our volunteer opportunities can be completed remotely, allowing volunteers across Canada to make a meaningful impact from home. Depending on your location, there may also be opportunities to support in-person programs and events.
We believe many senior-related social issues, including social isolation and the generation gap, can be addressed by encouraging meaningful engagement between youth and seniors. Together, we can create stronger, more connected communities.
Whether you have a few hours to give or want to become a regular volunteer, we would love to have you on our team. We welcome volunteers from across Canada who share our commitment to building stronger communities by fostering intergenerational connection.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:
- Event Setup and Takedown (in-person, where applicable)
- Workshop Volunteer
- Senior Buddy Program (in-person, where applicable)
- General Help
- Performance
- Hospitality (in-person, where applicable)
- Chat Monitor
- Tech Assistant
- Media Helper
- Emcee / Interviewer
