The Cross Cancer Institute (CCI) offers diverse volunteer roles aimed at supporting cancer patients and their families across Edmonton. Volunteers may serve as way-finders, friendly visitors, patient & family advisors, or assist in volunteer retail operations (e.g. gift shop, bookstore, café) so that proceeds support patient care.
CCI seeks volunteers who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to commit 6–8 months. They provide training, orientation, and integration into care settings. Volunteers contribute to improved patient experience and support the health system’s mission through meaningful interaction and logistical support.
