Volunteer Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated volunteer bookkeeper/accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the organization in financial decision-making. Responsibilities include recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting processes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our programs, enabling us to continue making a positive impact in the lives of the youth we serve.
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Familiarity with accounting software and financial management tools
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Strong organizational and communication skills
Commitment to the mission and values of Summit Outreach and Counselling
Time Commitment: Flexible, with an estimated commitment of 5-10 hours per month, depending on organizational needs and your availability.
