Global Gathering Place (GGP) is a non-profit organization Centre that provides services for immigrants and refugees in Saskatoon. The accepting the volunteer mentors are matched with a newcomer to be a trusted contact as they navigate life in Saskatoon. Volunteers has practice English skills and also need to offer vital social support and guidance to newcomers settling into our community. Mentoring is flexible and matches coordinate with each other to find the best days, times, and places to meet. Mentor matches meet for at least 1 hour a week for a 3 month period (with the possibility to extend).
