Are you a great story-teller? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented volunteer grant writer to help secure funding that enables us to continue our programs.
Making Prom Happen is a grassroots nonprofit that helps students attend prom with confidence and dignity, even if financial barriers exist. We work with schools and community partners to support youth who might otherwise miss this milestone experience.
We are seeking one or two motivated and detail-oriented volunteer grant writers to help secure funding that enables us to continue our programs. This is a great opportunity for post-secondary students or anyone interested in developing skills in fundraising, nonprofit communications, and grant writing, while making a tangible impact in the community. Multiple volunteers may be selected to share responsibilities.
Practical grant writing experience for your resume or portfolio.
Flexible schedule
Letter of recommendation or volunteer reference upon request.
A chance to contribute meaningfully to a program that directly impacts youth.
