Join the Holyrood Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter and be part of the team that shows up for the community when it matters most. No previous experience is required, and you will be provided with uniform, equipment, and training at no cost. Volunteers also receive a semi-annual stipend payout and have access to the station gym. To be eligible, you must be 18 or older, have a valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract, be able to obtain a Certificate of Conduct, get medical clearance and complete a physical assessment, have 24/7 access to a vehicle for emergency response, and be available for weekly training on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:30 pm.
