Volunteer with the Haines Junction Volunteer Fire Department and support emergency response in the community. Members respond to structural and vehicle fires, assist Wildland Fire Management with forest fires, and support other incident responses when requested. The department meets twice a month for training (the 1st and 3rd Tuesday) and recruitment is ongoing.
