Abbey Cat Adoptions is looking for responsible and flexible drivers who can transport cats and kittens between foster homes and veterinary visits.
*** Our Covid 19 Safety Procedures are as follow:***
Our volunteer drivers only transport cats / kittens between foster homes
and vet clinics… there is never another human person in the car other
than the driver.
When picking up an animal, the cat is placed in the carrier by the
foster parent and left where the driver will pick it up at the appointed
time.
When dropping the cat / kitten off to the vet, the driver parks and
calls the vet clinic to let them know that they are outside… a clinic
staff will then come and collect the carrier which will have been placed
outside of the car.
The same process is repeated in reverse when delivering the cat back to the foster parent.
Carriers are continually being sanitized (by the foster parents) and drivers are required to wear masks and gloves.
