About This Opportunity
Volunteer drivers may provide transportation to the grocery store, adult day programs, medical and personal appointments or errands for clients within Waterloo Region for whom public transportation and other forms of transportation are inaccessible.
Duties include:
- Escorting clients safely to and from their homes to the important places they need to be - such as various medical appointments (doctor's office, lab, specialist, physio), bank, lawyer, etc
- In-town or out-of-town rides, based on your preferences
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client information
- Be punctual and dependable in picking up the client at the scheduled time
- Flexible time commitment - you let us know when you are available from week to week!
- Mileage reimbursements are available.
*EXTRA NEED FOR DRIVERS IN CAMBRIDGE AND DRIVERS WILLING TO DRIVE OUT OF REGION*
