Help Change Lives—One Book at a Time Book Clubs for Inmates (BCFI) is a national registered charity that uses the power of literature to foster personal growth, critical thinking, and meaningful dialogue among incarcerated individuals.
We are currently seeking volunteer Book Club Facilitators for the Atlantic Institution in Renous, New Brunswick
Each month, volunteer facilitators lead engaging discussions
about carefully selected works of fiction and non-fiction. Conversations often
explore themes such as resilience, identity, forgiveness, hope, and personal
responsibility, encouraging participants to reflect on their own experiences
and consider new perspectives. Through literature, volunteers help create a
respectful and supportive environment where meaningful change can begin.

We welcome volunteers from a variety of backgrounds. Experience in education, facilitation, counseling, social work, rehabilitation, libraries, or related fields is an asset but not required.
