About This Opportunity
Join our Friendly Visiting Program and connect one-on-one with an older adult through weekly phone calls or in-person visits. Just 15 minutes to 1 hour of your time per week can help reduce loneliness and create lasting connections. Visit times are scheduled flexibly between you and your matched client, making it easy to fit into your week while making a big impact!
Seniors or adults with a disability, those who are lonely, socially isolated and have trouble making new social connections because of failing health or limited mobility benefit from this program.
Must be friendly, outgoing and non- judgmental.
Must attend a training session and submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
Reporting is done at the end of each month.
