Halifax Regional police becomes the volunteer opportunities for victim services :
- Must be at least 19 years of age or older
- Have the valid Nova Scotia driver’s licence and Burnside Watch for at least a year
- Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills are an asset
- Must know how to use computers and databases
- Commit to Victim Services for a minimum of 1 year
- Must volunteer for a minimum of 120 hours per year
- Must be available to work at least two evenings per month
- Pass the Halifax Regional Police security clearances
- Must be available to work a minimum of two evenings per month
- Should pass the Halifax Regional Police security clearances including a polygraph examination
