About This Opportunity

Victim Services of York Region is looking for Victim Response volunteers to attend on-scene with police in the immediate aftermath of a traumatic situation to provide emotional support and practical assistance to those affected.  

You must be over the age of 18, have a valid G license and access to a vehicle when on shift, be a resident of York Region, complete 60 hours of in-person training, commit to one full year of services, complete two 12 hour shifts each month and attend a monthly meeting.
