About This Opportunity

Looking for a meaningful way to give back, meet some great people, and have a lot of fun along the way?

Our Holland Landing Guides are looking for another adult volunteer to join our experienced Guider team on Tuesday evenings for just 1½ hours a week!

Guides is for girls ages 9–11 — an age full of curiosity, growing independence and BIG ideas. Together, our Guiders create a place where girls can try new things, discover their talents, build confidence, make friends and take the lead. Meetings might include games, outdoor adventures, crafts, STEM, cooking, community service, special events and whatever else the girls help us dream up!

🌟 Why become a Guider?

Volunteering with Girl Guides is:

💙 Fun — fill your cup with laughter, smiles and a little happy chaos.

💙 Rewarding — watch girls become more confident, capable and comfortable being themselves.

💙 Life-changing — build valuable skills in leadership, communication, teamwork and event planning.

💙 Unforgettable — become part of a supportive team, connect with other women in your community and make some wonderful new friendships of your own.

You do not need previous Guiding experience. You’ll be joining an established team, and Girl Guides provides training, resources and support to help you get started.

Sometimes the person who makes a lasting difference in a girl’s life is simply the adult who shows up each week, encourages her ideas and reminds her that she can do hard things.

Come be that person. 💙
