Key Responsibilities (Before the Event)
From now through June, you will:
Explain:
- how to create a Street Meet team
- what the Team Spirit Award is and how to win it
- the criteria used for judging (including costumes, creativity, and team spirit)
Help teams understand peer‑to‑peer (P2P) fundraising in a simple, encouraging way
Create light‑hearted social media posts that:
- build excitement and friendly competition
- highlight team progress and creativity
- encourage teams to get involved early
Event Day Responsibilities
- Connect with teams throughout the event and help keep energy high
- Notice standout team costumes and point them out to the Team Spirit Award judges
- Help ensure teams are nearby and ready when awards are announced
- Support the celebration and recognition of award winners
You are not responsible for judging decisions.

- Like helping others understand how things work
- Are comfortable talking to people and making connections
- Enjoy creative, fun, event‑based roles
No marketing or fundraising background required.
This Role Does Not Include
- Managing money or fundraising totals
- Making judging decisions
- Handling registrations or event logistics
- Independently managing social media accounts
Those tasks are handled by staff and other volunteers.
