York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES Event Support Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing.
The YRES Event Support Assistant is responsible for:
- Arriving to the event on-time and in professional attire
- Greeting visitors
- Conversation support
- Taking photos
- Helping count inventory of items that were brought
- Providing feedback on the event
- Arriving to the event independently

Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum age: 12
- Able to independently arrive to work on time
- Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn
- Can commit to scheduled time of the shift
- Fluency in English
- Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
