FortWhyte Alive brings people together to share unique experiences and create enduring connections with nature and one another through our 660-acre recovered urban green area.
Volunteers who value the outdoors and see the value of preparing the next generation for sustainable living are exactly what FortWhyte Alive is looking for. Volunteers who conduct programs get continuing training and direction in social history, environmental education, and outdoor adventure. Volunteers have the chance to keep active while sharing their teaching and leadership expertise, making new friends, and learning new skills.
* A passion for the outdoors and nature
* Children's and/or youths' amusement
* Educator experience is a plus
Commitment is half a day per week. Shift range from 2 to 4 hours during the weekdays from September to June.
