BECC is a national charity that supports development of Biosphere Eco-Cities (BECs) in Ottawa, Toronto, Brampton, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

In this role, you will be keeping an eye on emails from organizations that provide BEC
with volunteers. Getting volunteers is crucial for BEC because our entire organization
runs on volunteerism. Your main goal is to maintain consistent communication with
these organizations and stay up to date with when they share volunteer recruitment
opportunities.

So far, we have three main organizations that provide us with volunteers:
● The BEST program of CASA
● Links for Success: Winnipeg-based organization
● Northeastern University: Toronto and Vancouver-based campuses. Opportunity
for graduate students to participate in short practicums.

This is not only an opportunity to get involved with BEC, but also to stay connected with
other organizations and expand your network.
