Portobello West is looking for eager volunteers for our exciting Summer Shoppe Market on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th, 2026. This year's event will feature 69+ carefully curated vendors showcasing fashion, jewelry, art, home décor, skincare, gourmet treats, wine & spirits, and so much more!

Hosted at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre (181 Roundhouse Mews, Yaletown, Vancouver), Summer Shoppe is our newest open-mixed goods market celebrating both BC-based makers and unique businesses from beyond BC. Admission is free.

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Setup & Takedown: Assist with event setup, signage, vendor support, and closing the market at the end of the weekend.
• Guest Welcome: Welcome visitors, answer questions, provide directions, hand out event materials, and create a positive first impression.
• Crowd Management: Help guide guests, maintain smooth traffic flow, and ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
