About New Roots
New Roots is a community-based climate justice initiative that brings together newcomers and local residents through environmental learning experiences such as nature walks, food-growing workshops, and energy literacy activities. The program aims to create inclusive “third spaces” where participants can build practical skills, social connection, and confidence in environmental stewardship.
