About This Opportunity

  • Perform or arrange for preventative maintenance before small problems become expensive stories for the next Board meeting.
  • Arrange and oversee grass mowing, snow removal and grounds maintenance contracts, because apparently grass and snow refuse to maintain themselves.
  • Coordinate septic tank pumping/emptying and other septic-related maintenance.
  • Ensure appropriate people have access when they need it and, ideally, that people who should not have access don’t
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of keys, codes, locks, and access arrangements.
  • Contact, coordinate, and hire qualified contractors as required, including plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, septic contractors, locksmiths, and other tradespeople for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance situations with calm professionalism—or at minimum, with a functioning phone and the ability to call someone who knows what they’re doing.
