Join MICBA Forum Italia Community Services in bringing Mahjong, a popular tile-based game, to senior residents. Volunteers will facilitate Mahjong sessions, teach the game, and engage with seniors, both novices and experienced players. COVID-19 safety protocols are strictly followed.
Assist local seniors, network, contribute to seniors' health and wellness, and gain personal satisfaction from enhancing seniors' lifestyles.Minimum age of 14, familiarity with Mahjong, fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (an asset), commitment to volunteering for at least 6 months, ability to observe COVID-19 safety protocols, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Weekly shifts on Fridays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Onsite orientation required, including policy review, documentation, facility tour, and COVID-19 safety protocols.
