York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Logistics Coordination Volunteer who is passionate about giving back to their community, enjoys making a tangible impact through organization and inventory support, and thrives in a collaborative, social work environment.
The Logistics Coordination Volunteer is responsible for:
- Sorting, labeling, and organizing donated or purchased materials within the storage unit for easy identification and retrieval
- Packing and preparing supplies for upcoming events, camps, or programs based on distribution schedules
- Unloading and shelving incoming deliveries, ensuring items are stored safely and space is used efficiently
- Assisting with loading materials into vehicles for transport to event or program sites
- Conducting regular inventory counts and updating tracking sheets to reflect current stock levels
- Other tasks as required
Location: Richmond Hill
Date & Time: Ongoing - Weekly
Shift: Weekdays 9am - 5pm

Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum age: 14
- Able to independently arrive to work on time
- Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn
- Can commit to scheduled time of the shift
- Fluency in English
- Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Able to lift heavy objects (up to 20lbs)
