The Alzheimer Society of Niagara
Region is looking for volunteers!
The IG Wealth Management Walk
for Alzheimer’s annual walk event
to raise funds and reduce the
stigma for the 12,477 people living
with dementia in Niagara is taking
place Sunday, May 31, 2026 at
Brock University.
We need volunteers to help with
the route set up/tear down,
greeting and directing participants,
route guidance support and Walk
Station Attendant, Supporting our
Health Fair, and more.
Your Commitment
Availability on event day (Sunday, May 31): Multiple shifts are available between
7:00 am - 2:00 pm
- As an Event Day Volunteer, you will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:
- Greeting and engaging participants during the walk and activities.
- Directing participants during the walk outside or inside routes (weather depending)
- Distributing giveaways at our Walk Stations
- General supporting tasks Set up, monitoring and tear down of event
