Volunteers offer essential psychosocial support to our hospice clients of all ages, helping them live life to the fullest until the end.
Volunteers visit hospice clients weekly or bi-weekly
to provide emotional support, engage in memory making
and/or recreational activities, assist with
practical tasks such as running errands and helping
with household duties, and gives relief to
caregivers to have a break. They assess the need
for additional services that the hospice provides
and collaborates with the hospice care team to
meet clients' goals of care.
