Volunteers help bring comfort, connection, and practical support through roles like welcoming and assisting visitors, friendly visits, recreation and leisure support, support in palliative care, and other day to day activities that make care environments more human. The program is open to volunteers 16+ who can commit about 3 hours per week on a regular basis for at least 3 months, and includes a screening process.
