Role Description: 

 HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Grant Writing Support Volunteers. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our organization in securing funding through grants to support our mission of providing compassionate support services to those affected by cancer in our community. 

 Responsibilities: 

•  Research: Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with HopeSpring's programs and initiatives. 
• Grant Writing: Collaborate with the grant writing team to draft compelling grant proposals and applications. 
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit grant proposals for clarity, consistency, and adherence to grant guidelines. 
• Grant Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes. 
• Communication: Communicate effectively with staff members to gather necessary information and data for grant proposals. 
• Reporting: Support in preparing reports for grant funders, detailing the impact of their contributions on HopeSpring's programs and services. 

 Qualifications: 

• Excellent Writing Skills: Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive and articulate grant proposals.
