When
About This Opportunity
- Raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving (alcohol and / or drugs).
• review / evaluate the Chapter’s existing practices / initiatives / plan.
• research new fundraising ideas / opportunities.
•create a fundraising plan and present it to the Chapter’s board of directors.
• implement the fundraising plan, as approved by the Chapter board of directors.
• Target / solicit local business, community groups and / or members for donations -sponsorship and / or product (donations).
• Gather donations from local merchants for various fundraisers / awareness events i.e., local poster / multi-media contest prizes, golf tournament prizes, silent auction, etc.
• Keep a log of contact information for future reference / planning.
• Attend and assist with community events and Chapter / community fundraisers (as requested and if available). Examples might include: Project Red Ribbon campaign, Strides for Change, Voluntary Tolls, etc.
• Actively seek and investigate opportunities to fundraise on behalf of the Chapter.
• Be knowledgeable about MADD Canada’s policies, programs and services.
• Promote the Chapter positively within your community.
• Promote volunteer opportunities within your Chapter.

- Driver's License
- Resume or Linkedin profile
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Access to car
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record & insurance coverage
- Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
- Own cell phone
- Own laptop with internet access and camera
