Event Volunteers assist in various capacities to ensure the success of GVFS events. Responsibilities may include staffing information tents, assisting with marshalling and staging of entries, setting up and taking down event infrastructure, coordinating food services, ordering prizes, designing medallions and giveaways, obtaining price quotes, collaborating with the Chair and the City, managing spreadsheets and administration, creating maps, securing permits, and supporting social media and marketing efforts.
