The MS Bike – Ottawa to Cornwall is back on August 15th and 16th, 2026! Every kilometer ridden helps us move closer to a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS). We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to bring this impactful event to life!
The MS Bike – Ottawa to Cornwall is back on August 15th and 16th, 2026! The ride starts and ends at the Vernon Recreation Centre (7950 Lawrence St, Vernon, ON), with an overnight stop at The Dev Hotel & Conference Centre (1950 Montreal Rd, Cornwall, ON), and several Rest Stops along the way.
MS Bike is a two-day cycling event where every kilometer ridden helps raise funds and awareness for the 90,000 Canadians living with multiple sclerosis (MS). By volunteering, you'll play a crucial role in making this event a success while having fun, meeting new people, and supporting those affected by MS.
We're still looking for volunteers for volunteers for a variety of roles at the DEV Hotel & Conference Centre, including:
✅ Friday, August 14: Event Set-Up Crew, 9:00am - 2:00pm (5 volunteers needed)
Help us set up the different event areas, decorate, and create a welcoming space for riders, volunteers, and supporters.
✅Saturday, August 15: General Event Support (Floater), 10:00am - 4:00pm (6 volunteers needed)
Help us stay responsive to the event needs that arise on the day. This role is great for people who like to stay active and are happy to support any areas to ensure the success of the event!
✅Saturday, August 15: Finish Line Cheer Squad, 10:30am - 4:00pm (6 volunteers needed)
Help us welcome riders at the Finish Line with high energy, cheers, and motivational signs -- Art supplies will be provided!
✅Sunday, August 16: General Event Support (Floater), 6:30am - 11:30am (6 volunteers needed)
Help us stay responsive to the event needs that arise on the day. This role is great for people who like to stay active and are happy to support any areas to ensure the success of the event!
✅Sunday, August 16: Event Wrap-Up Crew, 7:30am - 11:30am (4 volunteers needed)
Help us close the event on a high note and clean up the space.

Support & Resources Provided by MS Canada:
- Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information.
- Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day.
