The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation recruits volunteers for a range of supportive roles tied to their events and community outreach efforts. Volunteers may help assemble kits for the “Lemonade Stands for Hope,” support event-day activities like the Challenge for Life by helping with preparation tasks (e.g. registration materials), or assist at events such as Hockey Fights Cancer through merchandise and raffle ticket sales.
The Foundation tailors roles to volunteer interests and availability—recognizing flexibility and acknowledging that demand can fluctuate. Prospective volunteers complete a simple interest form so staff can perfectly match them with suitable opportunities.
