Emergency Support Services Volunteer Responder

WITH TOWNSHIP OF LANGLEY

Summary

If you want a meaningful role that’s active when people need help most, the Township of Langley’s Emergency Support Services (ESS) program recruits volunteers to provide direct support to evacuees displaced by emergencies. ESS is designed to provide immediate short-term assistance for up to 72 hours, helping with essentials like shelter, food, and clothing for eligible residents. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a coordinated response alongside emergency management partners and first responders, and the Township highlights that volunteers can receive training and development opportunities (including free courses through the Justice Institute of BC).
