About This Opportunity
We are looking for Customer Service Ambassadors aged 19+ to help out at Charitable Gaming events in Scarborough. Ideally you are a friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing, and responsible volunteer who can deliver excellent customer service with a huge smile and positive attitude as well as commit to your assigned shifts.
The shifts are only 2 hours/month minimum and we have many different dates & times available on an ongoing basis. Charitable gaming events help raise funds for our charity to support our 300+ Toronto childhood cancer families through our Parent Liaison program, hospital parking program, grocery gift card program, and hospital meal vouchers. Volunteer duties include greeting customers, cleaning up tables, wiping down machines, calling back bingos, and generally helping out and chatting with customers. Other light duties as assigned by the centre staff. You will not handle any cash or run any games.
You will be trained and provided with a volunteer shirt to wear. We will also reimburse you for one-way mileage. If you're interested in learning more, please visit www.opacc.org/charitablegaming and you can apply there.
Please note that this is an in-person volunteer position in Scarborough, Ontario, and cannot be done virtually or remotely. The position does not involve direct contact with families, but rather supports this important fundraising program for our charity which ultimately helps support families.
