Newfoundland and Labrador Sexual Assault Crisis and Prevention Centre provides a 24-hour crisis and support line for individuals impacted by sexual violence. Volunteers are trained to offer empathetic, trauma-informed support through crisis calls and ongoing assistance. This includes handling sensitive conversations and supporting individuals through difficult situations. Volunteers also gain skills in advocacy, crisis intervention, and understanding systemic issues. This role provides critical support to survivors while contributing to broader awareness and prevention efforts.
