Cook a meal - Dartmouth location

WITH OUT OF THE COLD COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Summary

Out of the Cold Community Association was formed in 2007 after Pendleton Place, a community shelter open to all genders, closed. This closure had a profound impact on the community, leaving individuals who couldn't find alternative shelters without support. Out of the Cold started as a winter shelter and over the years, due to limited funding, faced the challenge of changing locations multiple times. Fortunately in 2022, a turning point arrived and the association was able to move services over to housing units offering permanent supported housing for the residents.
