Volunteer with UHC and support people across Windsor Essex who are working toward stability and independence. There are a range of hands-on roles depending on what you enjoy, including helping in the food bank (packaging produce, restocking shelves, supporting clients), supporting the community kitchen with meal prep and packaging, helping learners build confidence in English reading, writing, speaking, and listening, assisting in newcomer child care (supporting ECE staff with children 19 months to 6 years), and pitching in during the growing season in the community garden. UHC also runs seasonal and community-facing efforts like Coats for Kids and event volunteering throughout the year.
