Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre provides daily meals and programming focused on food sovereignty and community wellbeing in Iqaluit. Volunteers assist with daily food service, including helping prepare and serve meals to community members. There are also opportunities to support special events such as chef nights, contributing to community engagement through shared food experiences. Volunteers may help with behind-the-scenes operations that keep programs running smoothly. This role plays a direct part in providing access to nutritious meals and strengthening community connection.
