Support neighbours experiencing food insecurity by volunteering at the Lunenburg Community Food Hub. Volunteers help create a barrier-free, safe space where people can access supplemental groceries and essentials with respect and dignity. Typical tasks include greeting and registering patrons, helping people navigate available resources, attending training, and participating in meetings. Shifts are generally 2 to 3 hours with two volunteers scheduled at a time, as the hub works toward operating multiple days each week. Location: The Water Market, 237 Victoria Road, Lunenburg, NS.
