Role Overview
We are looking for creative and motivated volunteers to join Arrival Aid’s Communications & Social Media Team. Volunteers will help create engaging and accessible content to promote programs, events, advocacy initiatives, and community resources across our digital platforms.
This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in communications, design, storytelling, social impact, community engagement, or digital media.
Responsibilities
Depending on interest and experience, volunteers may help with:
- Designing Instagram posts, stories, and promotional graphics
- Creating reels, short-form videos, or visual content
- Writing captions, newsletters, or outreach materials
- Supporting social media planning and scheduling
- Promoting workshops, events, and community initiatives
- Helping ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and community-centered
- Brainstorming creative campaigns and engagement ideas
- Photography or event content collection (if applicable)
Qualifications
We welcome applicants of all experience levels. Ideal volunteers may have:
- Interest in social impact, community engagement, advocacy, or storytelling
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Canva, TikTok, or CapCut
- Creativity and willingness to collaborate
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in graphic design, photography, videography, or social media is an asset, but not required
- Passion for inclusive and accessible communication
