If you enjoy social media, content creation, and storytelling from the comfort of your home, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in nonprofit communications, social media management, and digital engagement.
Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Help build and enhance our social media presence through engaging posts and creative campaigns
Create and manage polls, surveys, and other interactive content to foster engagement
Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries on social platforms
Assist in coordinating and promoting Q&A sessions with newcomers
Support awareness campaigns and online event promotions
Work with our team to ensure messaging aligns with our mission and values
Track engagement metrics and suggest ways to improve outreach (optional)
Ideal Candidate:
Strong written communication skills with English fluency
Solid experience and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
Passion for immigrant and refugee support
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with Canva Pro is an asset
