As a volunteer driver, you will help people get to and from appointments, social engagements, and reach essential services in the community. You will be there at a time of need, providing company and reliable transport to those in your community.

As a volunteer client
driver, you will safely transport
clients to their appointments
related to their medical, financial,
social, recreational and life necessities.
Responsibilities

Safely transport clients
· Have a friendly
conversation along the way
·
Ensure that all passengers are abiding safety
procedures
· Report any accidents
or wellbeing, health
or safety concerns
· Respect confidentiality
Requirements
·
A current,
valid “G” driver’s license
· Apply for and provide satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector
Check and 3-year uncertified
driver’s record with at most three demerit
points (costs reimbursed after two months
or 20 hours of driving)

A registered and insured vehicle
·
Provide references
· Good verbal communication skills
·
Compassionate understanding of the diverse
life experiences of our clients
· We prefer a time commitment of an average
of 2 hours per week Benefits

Reimbursement for mileage ($0.55/km)
