About This Opportunity

Volunteer Position: Summer Camp Teaching Assistant

Duration: July 6, 2026 to August 7, 2026 (Monday to Friday; 5 weeks)

Available Shifts:
- Full Day: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Morning: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Afternoon: 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Location:
Peoples Christian Academy (245 Renfrew Drive, Markham, L3R 6G3)

Duties:
- Supervise and encourage participation in group activities
- Assist teachers to carry out lessons
- Meal & snack assistance
- Camp setup & cleanup
- Communicate with and assist staff
- Assist in roll call and dismissal

Requirement:
- Open to adults and students in Grade 9 or above
- Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
- Able to follow instructions
- Patient, enjoys working with kids
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
